The Spanish Town is the former capital. You can find it if you drive 23 km West from Kingston.
Or you can take a Bus from the station Orange or Half Way Tree.
In my opinion, is the most interesting of Jamaica's towns.
I loved seeing the King's House, the Jamaican People's Museum, Taino Museum. But I must tell you a tip: museums are kept locked, ask for the permission to visit in the Spanish Town.
